The Heat Absorption Model consists of two identical plates with different surface finishesone black and one whitepositioned on either side of a central heat source. A bulb placed in the center radiates heat toward both surfaces. By observing the temperature changes, students can clearly see that dark-colored surfaces absorb more heat energy than light-colored surfaces.
