The Electric Bell Model is an educational demonstration apparatus designed to clearly illustrate the working principle of an electric bell and the application of electromagnetism. Mounted on a sturdy vertical display board, the model exposes all major components, allowing students to observe the complete operating mechanism in real time.
When electric current passes through the coil, it creates a magnetic field that magnetizes the electromagnet. The electromagnet attracts the armature, causing the hammer to strike the bell. This movement simultaneously breaks the circuit, demagnetizing the electromagnet. The armature then returns to its original position, re-establishing the circuit and repeating the process rapidly to produce a continuous ringing sound.
The model is ideal for physics laboratories, STEM education, classroom demonstrations, and science exhibitions where students can easily understand the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical and sound energy.
